Dinner Ticket Description:
This ticket includes a four-course meal, a toast, and a truly unique and delicious experience. Proceeds will benefit the Dubuque Rescue Mission greenhouse project.   Limited tickets available!!  Must purchase by September 19th!

This fall, we are planning our first ever Farm to Table Dinner, where delicious food from local farms will be artfully prepared by Tri-state area chefs, highlighting our rich local food culture. Among our goals as is to explore new and interesting ways to connect people to food and community. This dinner will be a one night only, family-style, four course creation based on what’s ripe and good from our farmer’s fields.

This dinner will benefit the Dubuque Rescue Mission and its efforts to connect homeless adults to fresh, local and sustainable food sources. The purchase of your dinner ticket will directly seed the creation of their greenhouse project, and will help to purchase seeding tables for year-round vegetable production, to be used in the Rescue Mission kitchen! We are particularly excited about this model of fundraising; we feel it connects people to food and farms through a tangible, creative and inspiring process. The food will be superb, of course, and the experience truly magic, but our motivation is not profit driven. Our goal is to make our farms and food better through the support of our community. This dinner enables you to uplift local farms with a wine glass in place of a spade.

Dinners will be held outdoors (weather permitting) at tables surrounded by the beautiful bounty at Tri-State Market’s Farm. You will enjoy the freshest possible fare and sip on local beer and wine, with a lovely view of the farm fields and the rolling hills beyond.

  • 6:00pm – Guests will arrive to the farm to mingle, enjoy local music and breathe in the fresh country air.  Feel free to dress casually and wear comfortable shoes. Sip on local beer or wine and take in the scene.
  • 6:30pm – We will welcome and introduce our host farm, Tri-State Market, who they are, and what they are all about.  We will also introduce and thank the farms that donated or discounted their farm product for this meal.
  • 6:45pm – We will gather back at the harvest tables to enjoy good company begin our feast! During this time you will also get a chance to meet the chefs, and they will talk a bit about the meal they have prepared for you and their restaurant missions and connection to locally produced foods.
  • 7:00pm – Cheers! The rest of the courses will follow from here. Take your time and enjoy your meal. After all, It’s a one night only seasonal dinner prepared with love.
